Rip Current 1st Anniversary Weekend

As you hopefully already know, this weekend we are celebrating our 1st anniversary with a big event in the tasting room this weekend.  As a result of the event, the tasting room will be closed on Friday and Saturday.   We hope you plan to join us for the event as we’ll have a number of special beers on tap for your enjoyment.

Information on our event can be found at: http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/577593.  However, you’ll notice the event has been sold out for some time.   We do plan to sell a limited number of tickets at the door, so if you waited before buying your tickets and wish to join us please plan to arrive 30 minutes before the session starts to maximize your chance of purchasing a ticket at the door.

During the event, we will have >20 beers on tap plus our 1st cask beer.  The beer list will include a couple favorites from a year ago, one new beer plus several super fresh batches of some recent brews.  The two headline beers are Old Man’s Old Ale and Caught in a Rip Triple IPA.  We’re releasing a big complex malty beer and a huge hop monster in hopes it will satisfy both your sweet and bitter cravings and we’ll have several beers in between them.  At the conclusion of the event, you’ll receive a take home bottle of a one-off batch we made for the event that has never previously been served.  Its Bourbon, Wood-aged Old Man’s Old Ale.  This beer is designed to be aged for 6-12 months.

On the food side of the event, we’ll have Oscar’s Meat Pie Shack and Mish Mash Gourmet food trucks offering up their incredible food items.  Be sure to eat during the session to help soak up the 10 tasters you’ll be receiving.

On Sunday, the tasting room will be open for walk-in business again and we will be doing our early salute to St Patrick’s day.  We have a special traditional Irish style of beer that will be pouring on nitro all day.  Note that the tasting room will NOT be open on Monday as per our normal schedule.

Hope to see you this weekend…
