This 12.5% barrel-aged cuvee is our artful blend of some amazing barrels from our longer term (2+ year) portion of the cellar. This time we collaborated with the Tyson and Tom from Nickel Beer Co to create a fantastic balance of flavors from four beers each adding their own nuance to the final profile. This cuvee includes barrel aged: wheatwine, barleywine w/orange peel, doppelbock and scotch ale. The flavor profile leads with bourbon and oak richness without substantial hot fusels leading to a complex blend of dark caramel, dough/wheat, molasses and hints of dark fruits (date, fig) and orange peel.
