Rip Current Brewing is a craft brewery founded on December 5th, 2012 in San Marcos, CA. We are located in the heart of the Hop Highway off Highway 78. We focus on brewing robust, flavorful beer styles from around the world. All our brewing is done here, at our original location. We offer a large variety of 19 beers on tap including Nitro, Barrel-aged, IPAs, Coffee Porters, Belgian Ales and German-style Lagers. We also offer cans of our staple beers, and growlers to go!
San Marcos is a dog and kid friendly location. We also have one of the largest beer can collections on display, showcasing cans from the 1930’s to the 1970’s. Although we do not sell food like our North Park location, we often have food trucks and allow patrons to bring in food to enjoy with their beverages.
We are very sorry to say that we have closed our San Marcos location. We will miss our many regulars and patrons who graced our tasting room with many visits over the years.
